From landing a huge striper and exciting watersports to lounging on the deck and fish fry's on the cove's hill...we have greatly enjoyed every moment and memory made in these boathouses and are now ready to share this rare opportunity with you. We wish the new owner many fun filled years and great memories as well.
In order to streamline the sale of the property, we are conducting an online auction. The rules and bid box are located
at the bottom of the page.
Our boathouse (actually 3 under one permit), is on the Texas side of Lake Texoma and accessible from Hwy 289N. Security is fantastic being that visitors must pass through the Preston Shores community in order to reach the gated cove which is kept locked from dusk til dawn. It's tucked away nicely in a small cove on the south end of the Little Mineral arm providing protection from high winds. The boat ramp is adjacent to the west side making launching and storing your watercraft a breeze. The boathouse consists of:
* Permit issued by the Corp of Engineers
Permits to build on the shores of Lake Texoma have not been available for years and it's not known when
the Corp will issue more (if any).
* 4 boat slips

Center 10' wide x 24' long
West Side (2) 8' wide x 24' long

* 3 Stainless Steel Tables w/ water pumps
No property taxes
No lengthy title work
Buyer will receive a bill of sale from seller
Corps of Engineers will issue a new permit to
the buyer upon receipt of bill of sale
When viewing map, follow Lakeshore Drive south into the cove. Tinker's boathouse is located on the right side of the ramp. There is a small courtesy dock between the ramp and our boathouse.
